Ask your elected officials to stand up for sex education!

May 2020 is Sex Ed for All Month. This May, we want to show our state's students that we are working hard to improve sex education in New Jersey.

All month long, young people, parents, educators, and policymakers from across the country will participate in the #SexEdForAll Video Challenge by making short videos explaining why sex education is critical for helping all young people achieve the best positive outcomes.

Volunteer Meeting Guide

We need your help to make this campaign a success. PPAFNJ has put together a toolkit to help volunteers take action as we work together to promote health and wellness and increase access and resources for sex education in schools across New Jersey.

This toolkit is designed to provide the tools you need to be a powerful advocate for sex education. It contains resources and guidance for helping to collect survey responses, scheduling meetings with decision makers at your local school or district, and obtaining information about curricula and guest speakers used in your school's sex education program.

Once you’ve met with decision makers at your local school or district, please let us know how your meeting went. This way, we can track grassroots efforts across the state and capture the picture of what sex education looks like in our communities.
